Recently me and a really good friend have decided to try some new things. We are signing up for an Adult Kickball league. I think it will be fun. It starts in March. And is only $49 to join the league. I need the exercise for one. I am already trying to coax some of my friends to take pictures and cheer me on in the crowds. We also get semi uniforms. Too excited for words.

Over IT

Smiles, first of all. It’s been an interesting month. A very interesting month. Let me not ramble and get to the point.
Someone has recently spewed stuff about me on myspace.com. It was hurtful, but it did not hurt for that long. In fact I am going to give it only this blog and move on. Because 2007 is about solutions for me. MDB get over it, because I am. The year has been great for both of us, which says we are better off not friends. No need for nasty blogs and lies. Yes, lies. Stuff happens, people grow and move on. MDB was a good friend for some of our four year friendship. I think we both started growing in different directions, which is okay. Again no need to cry over spilled milk. Lets stop. Lets move forward. The past is the past. For the most part I am done.

Revisions to Harry Potter Predictions
February 21, 2007 · 6 Comments
Bare with me, for I am a Harry Potter fanatic. This is an updated form of my predictions for the Seventh Harry Potter Book.
- Harry will return to the Dursleys, during the school holiday. He will however leave before his birthday.
- Something will happen at Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour’s wedding.
- Hogwarts will reopen in the 7th book. The New Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher will be the most surprising of all.
- The quest to identify, locate, and destroy Voldemort’s remaining Horcruxes will continue. The remaining Horcruxes must be destroyed before Voldemort can be successfully conquered.
- Harry will have his final battle with Lord Voldemort by the book’s end.
- Petunia and Lily belong to another magical family (not squibs). Lily’s family was excited to hear she got accepted into Hogwarts (Book one). There is something to everyone saying Harry’s eyes is like his mothers.
- Ginny Weasley is powerful, she is the only girl for generations in the Weasley family (I think there is something there).
- By Voldemort restoring himself with part of Harry Potter’s blood he weakened himself. Or (This is a tad outrageous) If Harry Potter dies so will Lord Voldemort?
- Longbottom will become a teacher at Hogwarts????? Due to a lot of professors not coming back? Two main characters will die? The main characters of the Harry Potter Books are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Lord Voldemort, Albus Dumbledore, and Servus Snape. It’s a toss up between Ron and Hermione Granger. I am going with Ron. R.I.P. And I still think Lupin even though I do not think he is a main character.
- Dumbledore will also be back. No, he is still dead. But he has come back as a ghost or something.

The Wanting
February 20, 2007 · No Comments
There was a time where I was severely depressed. And once I got half way out I had stages of just wanting things. I was like a bottom less cup that could not be filled. I am starting to feel that stage of want again. Which I know will pass, but I have to rant and rave a little.
Why can’t I be the pretty, popular girl?
Why can’t I be the life of the party?
Why can’t my friends just think I am a dream?
Why ask why?
The thing is I do not feel sorry for myself. I just wish sometimes I was not so caught up on these small things. You can’t want to be something that you’re not, because you are you. You cannot get rid of you. If you don’t like or appreciate yourself why would you expect for someone else to appreciate you? I just want. I want to be thinner. I want to be more charming and delicate. But alas I am not. I am sturdy and plump. I am me. That just does not seem like enough for the wanting. Do I think that having what I want will make my life easier? No. A lot more fun though. A whole lot more fun. Why can’t I just be fun now? Because I am insecure. There. I said it. Insecure. So do I want security? I do want security in myself, because I do not feel that myself is good enough.
Anyway,

Norbert
February 19, 2007 · 3 Comments
I went to see Norbert this weekend staring Eddie Murphy, and on a scale of 1-5 (5 being the highest) the movie was a 0. And here is why:
Black stereotypes: Rasputia (Norberts wife)- was an over bearing black women who could not get her weight in check, was cheating on Norbert, and too aggressive. Hollywood and others need to stop having black me dress up as black women. It’s just too much and not acceptable.
The two pimps, come on. The golddigger boyfriend?! The three creeps?
I am through. And I read a joke on-line, if Eddie Murphy could he would have played Effie and his own role in “Dreamgirls”. True. Along with Tyler Perry, please give up demaening black women with lazy, aggressive, harsh stereotypes.

I just came from my interview and it went okay. I wasn’t as deer in the headlights as I thought I would be.
But here’s the low-down.
- I’ve been on several interviews, but this is the first interview that I went to where I had to read my answers out loud. While waiting for my interview to start I wrote out my answers to twelve questions they provided. When they called me in they instructed me to read what I wrote aloud to each question. Now I’m thinking did I mix something up, or did I follow the instructions properly. They only know. They didn’t say anything so I think it was okay.
- Also I arrived on time, I was suppose to be 15 minutes early, but I got caught up.
- My appearance was flawless, I saw the person after me. They did not look dressed for an interview. So that gave me a little hope.
- I tried to strike up a conversation with the security guard/receptionist, but she blew me off. At the end when I was turning in my references she did say I hope you get it, in front of the other applicant. So I don’t know what to say. (blush)
- I was interviewed by three people. And one called me out on resume. He asked me where he knew me from. I said the SEE and he suggested that I put that on my resume.
- I almost laughed while ready the question out loud. Because it was a scenario and I answered it with following the place of employments protocol.
Overall from 1-5, I would score myself a three. I was nervous because I expected the interview to be more conversation than it was. It was more question and answer. This was an experience though.

Current Obsessions
February 14, 2007 · 1 Comment
- Graduate School. The big question of 2007 is where am I going and who will accept me. It’s like getting picked to be on a team. I hope they choose me. I am going crazy I am applying to eight graduate schools for MPA concentrating in non-profit management.
- My interview tommorrow. This will be a big step for me. I am getting my hair done before the interview and I am buying a new suit. I cannot wait to see what happens.
- The color pink. My two favorite quotes say it all, “She’s to pure to be pink.” (Grease) and “Pink it was love at first sight.” (Pink song by Steven Tyler)
- Harry Potter. It’s on in July. The fifth movie comes out and the last book. I am going to be on Harry Potter overload. Sometimes I feel I am too old to love HP, but right now I cannot wait until summer.
- Friendships. 2007 is the year that I am moving and I want to keep the friends I have now. I know it will not be the same, but I want my friends in my life. I love them like family. I also hope to make new friends, which I am sure I will.
