I am writing and illustrating a children’s book this summer. And the name that I came up with was Mandisa. Mandisa is a six year old girl who lives with her mother and sister. The first story I plan to write is “Mandisa, Hero By Day ?”. It’s about Mandisa’s adventures as an underground hero. It’s not the most original thing, but I like it. She thinks that she is saving the day, but she is really causing more problems than solutions. I hope it turns out well.
I also started on my self portrait collection. The first one I started on last night. It was different than I thought it would be. This oil painting is to show how free I am. If I with information and I am free from the stuff I think has tormented me in the past. It’s really cute and I am really proud of myself.
And yesterday I got my dream phone. Kudos to me.
